- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a more detailed solicitation is available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO) Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/. Hard copies will not be available. Offerors should check the VCCO Web Page often fo r new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Solicitation Number W912EE-06-T-0019 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provis ion and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06 Correction. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside under NAICS Code 561720 (SIC 7349) with a size standard of $14,000,000.00. The USACE, Vicksburg District has a r equirement to provide janitorial services at the Hattiesburg EFO North office that has been established to aid in the recovery and reconstruction efforts as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Specifications are as follows: Janitorial services are required at t he following address: 323 Broadway Drive, Hattiesburg, MS 39401. The building includes 25,500 SF with two bathroom facilities w/3 fixtures and sinks each. Maximum housing requirement 200 employees. Janitorial services required for eight (8) weeks from sta rt date and may be extended on a weekly basis up to twelve (12) weeks to assure coverage for duration of lease term. Contractor shall maintain the premises, including outside areas, in clean condition and shall provide all supplies and equipment to include toilet tissue, paper towels and liquid hand soap dispensers for all bathroom facilities. (Detailed Specifications are available on VCCO website) This procurement may be quoted as follows: Line Item 0001 Supplies/Services: Provide Janitorial Services in accordance with the attached scope of work, Quantity: 1, Unit: Lump Sum, Unit Price $ ___________; Total amount for Line Item 0001 $____________. OP TION Line Item 0002 Supplies/Services: Provide Janitorial Services in accordance with the attached scope of work , Quantity: 12, Unit: Week, Unit Price$__________; Total amount for OPTION Line Item 0002 $_____________. Period of Performance is for eight (8 ) weeks from the date of the award. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be the lowest price. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with this offer. The Clause 52. 212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, applies to this acquisition.
