Description
This notice is to announce a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, New Orleans requirement for two rebuilt diesel swing engines for the M/V BIENVILLE. The Request for Quote is for a firm-fixed price supply contract to be competed under solicitation W912P8-06-T-0024. This action is set aside 100% for Small Business concerns under NAICS code 811310, size standard $6.5M. The RFQ and all information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opport unities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is and will continue to be all potential bidders responsibility to monitor the fedbiz website for any amendments, updates, bidders, library, responses to questions and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential bidders to download from the fedbiz website or request an electronic copy of the data by e-mailing melissa.k.koehn@mvn02.usace.army.mil or faxing request to 504-86 2-2892. Any communications must identify the RFQ number, W912P8-06-T-0024, company name, address, phone number including area code, facsimile number and point of contact. No phone call request will be accepted. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about 06 January 2006 with the closing date 12 January 2006. NOTE: Bidders must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) which is required by Federal Regulations (See FAR 52.204-7004), therefore you must be CCR registered to be a warded this project and payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recomm end registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
