Description

This solicitation will be a 100% Small Business Set Aside for the M49 Fixed Installation Filter Tray, NSN 4240-01-312-9156, P/N 5-19-11282. The modular 600 CFM M49 gas filter assemblies are comprised of a series of stackable, refillable, reusable, s tainless steel carbon trays, each with 120 CFM capacity. The 600 CFM gas filter assembly uses five of these stackable carbon trays. This item is packaged as 5 trays to 1 package. Unit of issue is package (pg). The assembly provides effective filtration at a temperature range from 25 deg F to +125 deg F. Stainless steel construction is completely decontaminable. Filter trays packaged for long-term storage without degradation. Award of a Basic Quantity type contract with a 200% option is anticipated. T he estimated basic quantity is 12 pg (1 pg contains 5 trays). First Article Testing (FAT) is required. Contractors must meet ISO 9001:2000 standards. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date of solicitation is February 10, 2006. This solicitation wil l be issued electronically. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/AAIS/Solinfo/index.htm. CAUTION: The solicitation will be issued ele ctronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet ad dress in order to obtain any said amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments or respond to them prior to the date and time set for the bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Upon the issuance of the solicitation, interested vendors will be able to order a TDP CD-ROM by following the instructions on our Open Solicitation website. A TDP will be sent via surface mail upon successful completion of the TDP ordering process.
