- This is a Sources Sought announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made fo r any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow- up information requests. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential HUBZone sources. Responses are restricted to certified HubZone s mall businesses. HUBZone contractors will be verified via CCR and SBA. The USPFO For Michigan is seeking qualified experienced HUBZone sources capable of performing a project that includes construction of four new buildings simultaneously at the Combat Re adiness Training Center in Alpena, MI. The buildings are a Command Post at 3,339 sq. ft., two Squad Operations Facilities at 12,786 sq. ft. each, and a 4,000 sq. ft Storage Facility. The magnitude of the project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 and will require contractors to show adequate proof of bonding capacity of a single contract and aggregate bonding capacity. The government is requesting that HUBZone parties interested as prime contractors furnish the following information: (1) Company nam e, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address. (2) Type of business under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220. (3) The SBA district office for your firm. (4) Provide proof of bonding capability of i ndividual contract and aggregate amount. (5) Notice must include a positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor. (6) Provide a list of ALL RELEVANT projects (government and private) performed within the last three years. Include name, address , telephone number, and email addresses of references for all relevant contracts. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. Relevant contracts must be the same or s imilar to the work described in this announcement. (7) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish this contract. In the event adequate Hubzone contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it will be advertised as unrestricted.
