Description
The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Directorate of Logistics - Washington and Office of the Secretary of the Army (OSA) and its supported customers in the personnel, supervision, tools, padding, packing, crating materials, eq uipment and vehicles necessary to perform services for moving and warehouse services. The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) intends to award IAW FAR 6.204. This acquisition will be 8(a) Set-Aside. The services for this requirement will include: Delive ry of supplies to customers; Limited labor support for inter-office moves, relocations, and resource distributions; Providing support for inter-office moves and liaison and support for required warehouse operations related to logistics operations; Providin g support to the building manager in a variety of work actions ranging from inter-office moves, storing unused resources, to handyman type actions, inventorying offices and storage areas, and distributing supplies as required; Providing pickup and delivery services in support of the Department of the Navy within the National Capitol Region (NCR); Providing loading and off loading capability for cargo at the Remote Delivery Facility (RDF) destined for the customers in the Pentagon; Providing general labor se rvices to include but not limited to distribution of supplies, light moving of resources within the office structure, inventorying of office property; Providing basic warehouse operations of storing, retrieving and inventorying on hand resources; Providing personnel of varying labor skills to accomplish property inventories, warehousing of supplies and surplus/excess resources, distribution of supplies and office moving of customers inside and outside of the Pentagon; Providing a work force possessing the s kills, knowledge, training, licensing and certifications needed to satisfactorily perform the services required by the contract. The principle places of performance are at the Pentagon, Fort Belvoir, VA, Alexandria, VA; and other Defense activities located within the National Capital Region (NCR). Occasional requirements may include deliveries outside of the NCR e.g. Ft. Meade MD., Richmond, VA. and Norfolk, VA. Offerors responding to the solicitation will provide services in accordance with the Statement o f Work (SOW). The contract type will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Hours with Time and Materials (T&M) Indefinite-Delivery/Task Order contract. The contract will be for a one-year base period of performance plus four-one year options. A pre-proposal conference and site visit may be required.
