- Description
- The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, General Support Division has a requirement for Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping services for Fort Campbell, Kentucky. This requirement is being procured pursuant to FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commerci al Items, therefore in accordance with FAR Part 12.204(b) and FAR Part 12.205(c) the contracting officer intends to allow fewer than 15 days before issuing the solicitation and fewer than 30 days before the cut-off date for receipt of proposals. This requ irement will be 100% HUBZone set-aside in accordance with FAR Clause 6.205. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, supervision, materials, transportation, and other items and services necessary to ensure that the grounds maintenance is p erformed at Fort Campbell Kentucky, in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. The solicitation will be made available on January 23, 2006 with a projected closing date of February 14, 2006 for proposal receipt. The Government intends to aw ard a firm fixed price contract for a base period of one year (1 April 2006 thru 31 March 2007) and four one year option periods. All option periods may be exercised at the unilateral discretion of the Government in accordance with FAR 17.207 and FAR Clau se 52.217-9. The resultant contract will be awarded using Best Value Evaluation criteria which will be provided in the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. All responsible HUBZone sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561730 with a small business size standard of $6.5mil.
