- ACA Northern Region, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington is soliciting proposals for a contractor to provide cleaning services for # 1 Digester located at Solo Point Waste Water Treatment Facility at Fort Lewis Washington. The contra ctor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to provide all the specified services. The contractor shall also provide all necessary personnel, management, and other items and services not expressly Government-furnished. Th e solicitation will result in the award to a single contractor of a firm-fixed-price contract. The period of performance is from 1 April 2006 to 1 May 2006. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is W911S8-06-R-0003. The applicable NAICS code is 562991 and the small business size standard is $6 million. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the Fed Biz Opps website, http ://www.fbo.gov/ and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. The solicitation will also be posted on the Fort Lewis Directorate of Contracting website, http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc/, under Solicitations. The te ntative solicitation issue date is 30 January 2006 and the anticipated closing date is 21 February 2006. After release of the solicitation a pre-proposal conference/site visit is tentatively scheduled for 8 February 2006 at 09:00:00 AM PST. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for correct dates and times.
