Description

The US Army Heritage and Education Center, US Army War College, seeks to purchase a M18 Tank Destroyer that saw service in the American military during WWII. The tank destroyer must be in original and/or restored condition. The M18 tank destroyer req uired must meet the following specifications and conditions in order to be accepted by the Government for purchase: 1. The vehicle must be in good condition, and must have all fluids removed and prepared for display per Army regulations. 2. The vehicle's serial and contract numbers must match those that were issued to the US Army. 3. The vehicle must be in displayable condition for outside exhibit. There should be little visible sign of excessive wear and tear. Paint color and insignia should match US Tank Destroyers that saw service in the US Army European Theater of Operation. 4. The vehicle should be equipped with a 76mm main gun that is intact and clean with all controls in operable condition. 5. The turret of the vehicle should have all of its hatches intact and the transverse gear should be operable. 6. Any support parts or equipment will be provided as part of the sale of the tank destroyer. FOB Destination is Carlisle Barracks, PA. All offerors must be CCR registered to be eligible for contract award. THE NAICS code for this procurement is 712110. The size standard is $6.5 Million. See Numbered Note #1.
