Description
Full food service to be performed at the USAF Academy's High Country Inn military dining facility. The successful contractor will be required to provide all management and labor to operate this government dining facility. Acquisition will be issued as an unrestricted competitive solicitation. Current contract falls within the guidelines of Randolph-Sheppard (20 USC 107-107e). There is also currently a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) in place with ITPEU (Industrial, Technical, and Professional Employees Union). The state of Colorado may submit a proposal under this solicitation. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Size standard for NAICS 722310 is $17.5M. A contract consisting of a base period and four (4) one year options. This facility is dedicated to providing full meal service and meeting the nutritional needs of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel who frequent the facilities. The primary customers at this dining facility are Essential Station Messing (ESM) recipients to include an average of 200 Preparatory Students and approximately 100 Dormitory ESM personnel. The contractor shall, as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) provide all personnel, supervision, and any items/services necessary to perform full food services at the High Country Inn (HCI) dining facility. The contractor shall perform a seamless transition to the performance of requirements and professional standards under this contract, and shall follow all applicable instructions and directives as identified. The contractor shall meet levels of quality as prescribed in the Air Force Services Golden Eagle Standards. Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: Dining Facility Management, cooking, food preparation, serving and replenishing food, maintaining a storeroom, cleaning facilities, equipment, and utensils, preparing vegetables and fruits for the salad bar, maintaining a manned Deli bar, bussing tables in dining areas, performing cashier services, full knowledge of the ALOHA ala carte accounting system, handling foods, supplies, and equipment, maintaining quality control, ensuring preventative & operator maintenance and minor and/or major repair(s) of food service equipment, requesting work or repair work orders for the facility, and in the event of contingency, perform all required tasks to include continued service.
