Posting of the Solicitation, specifications and drawings has been delayed. They will be posted on or about 1 Dec 2005. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for FA8601-06-R-0010: Project Number 020012; Period of Performance is 180 days. This is an UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION. Full and Open Competition.. The contractor must be registered in the CCR prior to award of contract. Registration may be completed via the DUNNS+CCR website: http://www.ccr.gov/. SIC 1731, SIZE STANDARD $12M. Replace Runway Approach Lighting. Project scope includes removal of existing electrical circuits, non-frangile lighting supports and lights, replacement with new electric ciruits, non-frangible lighting supports and lights. Work consists of providing all labor, equipment, applicances, devices and materials; performing all removals and miscellaneous work; and performing all operations necessary to complete the following: (Line Item 0001) Replace 23R ALSF-1 System and (Line Item 0002) Replace 5L ALSF-1 System. The above work shall be performed as shown, indicated or noted on the drawings and as described in the project specifications and as otherwise required a complete and operating systems as approved by the Base. The site of the work is Runway 5L-23R, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Prior experience with light in the airfield environment is essential to reduce potential hazardous schedule adherence. A Request for Proposal including Performance/Price Tradeoff criteria is anticipated to be used. Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. It will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 3. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation for bid opening. Bids will not be publicly opened. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be marked to show the bidder's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time bids are due. 4. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors.
