NOTICE: Jan 4, 2006: Amendment #0001, schedule of hardware, questions and answers have been poste NOTICE: 3 JAN 06: Clarification: This is an 8(a) competitive procurement. NOTICE: 21 Dec 2005. Solicitation, Specs, and Drawings have been added as attachments and are now available for downloading. NOTICE: 18 November 2005. Posting of the solicitation, drawings and specifications has been delayed. They will be posted on or about 1 Dec 2005. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for FA8601-06-R-0009: Project Number 030011A; Period of Performance is 180 days. This is set aside for a Section 8(a) Competitive procurement. The contractor must be registered in the CCR prior to award of contract. Registration may be completed via the DUNNS+CCR website: http://www.ccr.gov/. SIC 1731, SIZE STANDARD $12M. Repair Basement Facility 20046 - Fire Safety. Project involves furnishing all materials and perform all labor required to renovate and install the fire protection system (eliminate current FSD III Fire safety deficiency), architectural finishes, HVAC and plumbing in the windowless basement of Facility 20046. Includes associated architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and miscellaneous work as shown on the project drawings and described in the specifications. A Request for Proposal including Performance/Price Tradeoff criteria is anticipated to be used. Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Attachment to synopsis: NOTES: 1. The solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be available on the WWW on or about 21 Nov 2005. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be provided; however, you may download and print the file from the World Wide Web (www) at: http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil.. 2. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. It will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 3. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation for bid opening. Bids will not be publicly opened. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be marked to show the bidder's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time bids are due. 4. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors.
