Description
Provide all labor, material, transportation, equipment and supervision required to Repair the Septic System at USCG Station Sturgeon Bay, WI. Phase I: Remove existing septic tank, life station and related piping. Provide one new 1500 gallon concrete septic tanks, concrete cover, access hatch, and waterproof coating. (Contractor may substitute two 1000 gallon polyethylene tanks.) Provide new duplex lift station, that includes a 5 feet diameter, 6 feet deep pit (with waterproof coating), two 1/3 HP, 25 gpm, 25 TDH effluent pumps, 115 volt, single phase. Provide exterior NEMA 4x control panel, with high level alarm, and 30 watt flashing red light, on wood post next to lift station. Connect to existing underground electrical service of existing pump. Provide new NEMA 4x junction box for electrical connection. Provide galvanized rigid steel conduit for all new wiring. Ground all new electrical facilities in accordance with NFPA. Provide 50 feet of 4? PVC sch 40 drain pipe from building to new septic tank, and on to new lift station. Provide 40 feet of 1.5? PVC sch 40 pipe to connect utility room sump pump, to septic tank, and to connect new duplex pumps to existing pressure sewer. Provide all new bends fittings, Tees, unions, and miscellaneous plumbing accessories required by local plumbing code. Remove (1) nearby 6? bush, and grind stump. Backfill, existing excavated holes from removed bush, septic tank, life station, and pipes. Grade work area to match elevation of grass lawn. Seed all disturbed areas and cover with straw. Phase 2: Construct new 30?x100? leach field. Provide earth fill and stone bedding, and all required piping. Leach field shall be inspected and approved by local authorities. Constructor shall have a state/county license for septic field construction. Construct 4? diameter PVC pipe connection to existing gravity sewer line. Grade work area to match elevation of grass lawn. Seed all disturbed areas and cover with straw. Period of performance is 90 DANTP. This procurement is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS is 238910 with a Small Business Size Standard of $12.0.
