Description
This is a request for quotation (RFQ) ? F1ATA25353A100 The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) Contracting Office, Bolling AFB DC intends to procure on a competitive/unrestricted basis to provide the United States Air Force Chaplain Service a USAF Spiritual Fitness Training Conference for world-wide USAF Chaplain Service personnel and USAF military personnel in general (Commanders, First Sergeants). SITE/LOCATION PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: HQ USAF/HCXP requires a facility that has a conference atmosphere for 400 military personnel. The site must provide the following requirements: (a) facility availability for training conference date window: 15 ? 18 May 2006 (b) accommodations for 400 people (c) site must provide a ballroom that accommodates staging area and classroom style seating for 400 people, 15 meeting rooms to accommodate 50 to 80 people per session with seating/podium, registration area adjacent to command and control center with minimum 2 telephones, internet access and fax over a span of six consecutive days/nights (to include day prior/following training conference) (d) contractor shall provide at a minimum 400 rooms for lodging and 3 DV suites at government rates (e) minimum of two on-site restaurants available; contractor must have capability to provide food consistent with dietary guidelines of Jewish and Muslim religious practices (f) site must be located near a major hub airport with convenient/low cost travel to-from training conference location (g) site must be located within a reasonable driving distance of Christian, Jewish and Muslim faith communities and houses of worship (h) contractor must have the ability to take a Government VISA card as payment from each occupant (i) lodging rate must be at or below government per diem (j) contractor shall provide audio/visual services and stage area for the conference (k) contactor shall provide 6 light refreshments for training conference attendees (one evening, three mornings, and two afternoons)(Light refreshments (excluding alcohol) include such things as coffee, tea, milk, juice, soft drinks, doughnuts, bagels, fruit, pretzels, cookies, chips, muffins, or similar items.)
