- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB) for the annual accreditation fee to maintain the DEA?s laboratory Certificate of Accreditation. The proposed purchase order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with ASLD/LAB under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for ASCLD/LAB. The acquisition will be conducted through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 ?Simplified Acquisition Procedures?. No solicitation is available. Closing date is January 5, 2006. See Note 22.
