- The Social Security Administration is seeking licensed physicians to provide services as medical consultants in the specialties of orthopedics, psychiatry, neurology, internal medicine, pediatrics and other medical specialties. Work will consist of reviewing claims/cases of disability determinations on a computer for the SSA?s Disability Program. There is no patient contact. Work is to be performed on-site at the Federal Building in Denver, Colorado. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System code is 621112 and the size standard for this code is $8.5M. Period of performance will be on or about April 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006. The contract will include two, one year options periods. Firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contracts will be awarded. See numbered note 1.
