- TACOM Life Cycle Management Command-Rock Island intends to negotiate on sole source basis with Grove US LLC for a replacement parts on our Grove Cranes under the authority of FAR 6.302-1- Only one responsible source and no other service will satisf y the agency requirement. This notice is neither a request nor an invitation for bid. However, all information received by the close of business on 01/02/06 will be considered by the government. Information received will only be considered for the purp ose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this will be entirely at the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation packag e is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in preparation of responses to this announcement.
