- This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of a market survey being conducted by the Air Force to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement for the upgrade, installation and integration of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Directorate of Air Force Training network at nine (9) Air Bases in the Kingdom. In particular, the contractor will provide the RSAF Directorate of Air Force Training with an integrated, common network infrastructure for enterprise computing. The network will be secure and scalable for future expansion, easily managed from a single point network management location, easily maintained, and easily upgraded. The hardware and software design shall be open architecture to allow replacement of any obsolete hardware without the redesign or replacement of the software or hardware not affected by the change. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought Synopsis.
