- This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of a market survey being conducted by the Air Force to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement for the upgrade of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) School of Command, Control and Communications (School of C3) at Prince Sultan Air Base, located in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia. Specifically, the contractor will provide all necessary engineering services to fabricate/procure, install and deliver to the RSAF a turnkey system totally modernizing the eleven (11) existing classrooms at the School of C3 to include the networking of classrooms, replacement of student and instructor workstations, integration of electronic presentation aids, and modernization of the classroom layout. In addition, the contractor will update/modernize/rehost the 1502 Computer Based Training modules currently in use in the School of C3. The hardware and software design shall be open architecture to allow replacement of any obsolete hardware without the redesign or replacement of the software or hardware not affected by the change. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought Synopsis.
