- The VA VISN 22 Network Business Center intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 13) Sole Source contract with Given Imaging Inc., 5555 Oakbrook Parkway, Norcross, GA 30093, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. Given Imaging Inc. shall provide the following package (including accessories) : 1. Given Rapid Workstation #40274 (Dell 370) a) 1-each, Rapid Workstation (110V), Dell 370, #FGS-0134 b) 1-each, Dell 1505FP 15? Flat Screen Moni, #FGS-0122 c) 1-each, Printer HP 6122, #FGS-0018 d) 1-each, Accessory Pack 2, #FGS-0078 e) 1-each, GLR Kit (US), #FGS-0119 2. Data Recorder 2 kits; a) 2-each, DataRecorder 2, #FGS-0079 b) 2-each, DataRecorder 2 set, #FGS-0080 3. 1-each, PillCam SB 10-Pak (10 Single use PillCam ESO Capsules Cameras, 10 application kits and 10 disposable Razors), #20451 4. 1-each, PillCam ESO 10-Pak, (10 Single Use PillCam ESO Capsules Cameras, 10 Application Kits, and 10 Disposable Razors), #FGS-0088 5. 1-each, GDS Cart (US), #FGS-0003 6. HD Maxtor OneTouch 200GB, USB 2.0, #FGS-0123. The Given Imaging Endoscopy Capsule is unique and has been approved by the FDA as a class II device. The device provides for imaging in the small intestines and is also used to diagnose inflammatory bowel diseases and small intestinal tumors. The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in CA requires the Given Imaging System with 1-year warranty on the systems. Products shall be delivered in 3 days after award. The delivery terms shall be FOB Destination to VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda CA. 92357. These are the only Capsule Endoscopy Systems known that are superior for the Gastroenterology Department required by the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System.
