Description

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Administration for Children, Youth and Families (ACYF), Head Start Bureau, Office of Grants Management, through the Program Support Center (PSC), Division of Acquisition Management, has a requirement for administrative and technical support to provide prompt, accurate and ?user-friendly? assistance to Head Start grantees. Successful delivery of these services will require knowledge of and experience with the Head Start Program, Federal grants process, especially that of HHS, demonstrated background and training in accounting and/or financial management, experience and knowledge of automated financial and program information systems, and the capacity to develop a ?user-friendly? interface with Head Start grantees that will ensure ?customer satisfaction?. This procurement is limited to Head Start grants administered by ACYF in Washington, DC. It is anticipated that a cost plus fixed-fee contract will be awarded for a period of 12 months with four 12-month option years. Responses to the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be due within 30 calendar days following the actual date of issuance of the RFP. This is a competitive 8(a) requirement. All responsible 8(a) Contractors may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the PSC.
