- NSN: 5342-01-414-6582, Safety Cable Kit, is a source approval item. The Source Approval for NSN is conducted by SAE International, Cage 0U583, Part Number AS3510-0218K, Configuration Control Item IAW BOEING Company, Cage 81205. The NSN is manufactured IAW SAE Standard AS3510 P/N AS3510-0218K and is defined as one (1) Kit. one (1) Kit = one (1) Cable with an end-cap + one (1) ferrule. The ferrules shall be packaged in a spring loaded magazine with 50 ferrules per magazine. Unit of Issue (UI) is package (PG) with 50 Kits per PG PG = 50 cables with end caps and one magazine with 50 ferrules. NAICS is 33251. The solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and is procured as fully competitive in accordance with a military/federal specifications/standards and/or voluntary industry standards. FOB at destination, Inspection/Acceptance at destination. Delivery within 103 days ARO. This NSN is a critical application item and is not commercial. Solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Contract with a 100% quantity option. The quantity is 5757 Packages. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
