- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego Detachment, Seal Beach intends to solicit the following on a sole source basis. STATEMENT OF WORK 1. REQUIREMENTS 1.1 Service Required: Maintenance of government-owned hardware for the period of 01 October 2005 to 30 September 2006. The hardware is located at Naval Satellite operations Center (NAVSOC) Headquarters, building 375, Point Mugu, Ca. This hardware is installed in the Integrated Satellite Control System (ISCS) and operated to support the ISCS network. 1.2 Equipment Description: See Attachment(1) 1.3 Type of Maintenance Required: Maintenance to include basic product information support to be provided principally by telephone, product operability maintenance, and the latest available product version upgrade upon request. Maintenance will include repair and or replacement of failed hardware components. 1.4 Principle Period of Maintenance (PPM): the PPM shall include technical telephone service 8 hours per day, 5 days per week except for government and contractor holidays. 2. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES 2.1 Point of Contact: The contractor shall furnish to the NAVSOC, Contracting Officer a point of contact, including name, telephone number(s) of the point of contact through which the Government can initiate a maintenance action. 2.2 Contractor-Provided Materials: Contractor shall provide verbal and written assistance upon request during principle period of maintenance. 3. Anticipated award date is 12/27/05. The proposed action is for maintenance for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The requested items will be used down load data from various satellites . All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The determination by the Government not to complete this requirement based upon responses to this notice soley within the discretion of the Government.
