Any prospective Offeror interested in proposing for this solicitation may view and/o r download this solicitation and all amendments from the internet site http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/ after solicitation issuance. Description of work: This solicitation is for the dredging of approximately 530,000 cubic yards of maintenance material fro m the entrance channels of Savannah and Brunswick Station Harbors by hopper dredge. Dredged material will be placed in the designated offshore disposal areas. Work is to be performed concurrently with normal shipping traffic. Period of Performance is 45 days from Notice to Proceed. The anticipated cost range is less than $5,000,000. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 (Public Law 100-656) under NAICS 237990. The size standard for this NAICS is $1 7 Million. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only on or about 4 January 2006 and will be available on the Internet at http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation. Notification of amendmen ts will be through use of the Internet. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided.
