- Description: The Government has a services requirement to provide Operations and Maintenance Training on the UBM-120 Machines. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 611519 with a size standard of $6.6 Million; the SIC code is 8243. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. The proposed source is MIC Industries. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, the government will consider any quotations received within 20 days of the issuance of this notice. The purpose of the sole source justification is to cover the open market portion. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The anticipated award date will be 45 days after the insurance of this notice.
