- AFMETCAL Det 1 intends to award a firm fixed price Indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) commercial contract with a five year ordering period. The requirement is for the purchase of a Resistance Standard. The proposed item must meet the requirements of AFMETCAL Purchase Description 1E06-0608-MLEE-KE-08A, Revision 1, dated 26 Oct 05. The guarenteed quanity is 1 each however we anticipate issuing orders for a total quantity of 79 each as follows: 25 each in FY 06, 25 each in FY 07 and 29 each in FY 08. Contingent upon the availability of funds some of the anticipated quantity may be ordered in FY 09 and FY10 or may not be ordered at all. Offerors will be required to provide pricing based on quantity ranges of 1-99 in each of Fiscal years 06-10, however quantity will not exceed 99 in the 5 year ordering period. Data including operation, maintenance, calibration manuals and an extended warranty of up to five-years is required with each unit. These units will be shipped to AFMETCAL Det1 in Heath OH. Delivery shall be FOB destination. The first unit ordered will be considered a first production unit and will undergo extensive testing. Other units ordered may not be shipped until the First production unit has passed testing. All units will require acceptance testing to ensure they meet the purchase description. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued approximately 5 Jan 06 with a due date of 30 Jan 06.
