Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System plans to issue a request for proposal (RFP) to providers capable of performing services for the "Employee Assistance Program" for the Pittsburgh, PA geographic area. It is contemplated that a single award will be made to a healthcare facility qualified to provide employee assistance such as, but not limited to assessment, counseling and referral and their family members for the purpose of determining the early recognition, intervention, and resolution of work-related and personal problems in accordance with contract terms and conditions for base period of six months from April 1, 2006 through September 30, 2006 with four (4) twelve month option periods. The offeror will quote a capitation rate for the base year and each option year. The issue date for this solicitation is o/a 1/1/06 and the due date for proposals 1/23/06 at 4:30pm. To receive award, the offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database which can be accessed at website http://www.ccr.gov. This solicitation and any amendments will only be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The NAICS is 621330 with a size standard of $6 million. The Contract Specialist must receive any questions no later than 1/13/06 ten (10) calendar days before the response due date of 1/23/06.
