- Description
- The Technology Applications Contracting Office (TAKO), Ft Eustis, Va has a requirement for the continued development and sustainment of Portable Flight Planning Software (PFPS). The PFPS is a Microsoft Windows based suite of applications that provides an integrated planning environment to support most DoD aircraft and their associated missions. The purpose of the continued development and sustainment of PFPS is to bring critical capabilities to the Special Operations Forces (SOF) warfighter. The PFPS software will be developed/modified to accommodate the need to maintain compatibility with the latest technologies and computer operating systems. The modifications will allow the mission planning software to interface with the vehicles hardware, integrate with the latest DAFIF edition and to enhance PFPS mission planning components. The estimated period of performance is expected to be a base year with four (4) options years. It is the Government's intention to award an Indefinite Delivery -Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) cost type contract on a Sole Source basis to TYBRIN Corporation, 1030 Titan Court, Fort Walton Beach, FL. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541511. The requirement will utilize FAR Part 15 policies and procedures. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-OCT-2005).
