Description

DESC: PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. Project 940166A. Period of Performance is 366 days. NAICS CODE: 236220. Size Standard $28.50M. Repair First Floor of Facility 30010, WPAFB, OH. Estimated Cost of Proposed Acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-704 “Required Central Contractor Registration,” Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr2000.com/index.cfm, or 1-888-CCR-2423 Fax: 1-703-696-0213. Scope of Work: The work consists of the repair of the 88 ABW/JA office and customer service areas. The project will be phased to command section to remain in the facility during the renovation. The project includes demolition/renovation of nearly the entire first floor excluding the courtroom and entry lobby. The project also includes installation of fire suppression /detection system, new water main to the facility, and a new HVAC system. Project involves excavation and installation of a concrete trench and then installation of 125-PSI steam and pumped condensate piping in that trench. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/CONCERNS: The second floor and part of the first floor will be occupied during construction. This includes The Wing Command Section and the JA Command personnel. The courtroom will be in use for the duration of the project. All utilities that serve the second floor must remain operable until the new systems are commissioned. This will be a high visibility project where schedule the must be maintained to insure no interruption to the Wing Command Structure. NOTES: 1. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available on the World Wide Web on or about 25 Nov 2005, at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. 2. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the web site. 3. There is no fee for this solicitation. 4. There are approximately 31 pages of the solicitation, 501 pages of specifications and 56 sheets of drawings. 5. A hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at Dayton Builders Exchange, Minority Contractors Business Assistance Program, and F.W. Dodge Division. 6. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 7. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 by the proposal closing date specified in the solicitation. There will not be a public bid opening. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts.
