Description
The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with MAN B&W Diesel, Inc., 10801 Kempwood Drive, Houston, Texas 77043. The requirement is to purchase 90 drums of PAXCOOL Inhibited Antifreeze per year with delivery requirements of approximately 22 drums on a quarterly basis for maintenance of Cyclone Class Patrol Coastal Ships (PC) that are equipped with Paxman diesel engines. This requirement will be awarded under an Indefinite Quantity/ Requirements Contract with firm fixed unit prices for one (1) base year and four (4) option years subject to Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The first delivery of the item will be required on or before 1 February 2006. Delivery will be to the Naval Amphibious Base (NAB) Little Creek HAZMIN Center. FOB point is destination. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 23 December 2005 by downloading the documents at the Neco Website as follows: http:// www.neco.navy.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325998 and the Small Business size standard is 1000 employees. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
