- Description
- It is the intent of the NAVAIR Orlando Training Systems Division, Orlando, FL to solicit and award a sole source FFP purchase order to Minitab Inc. (Quality Plaza, 1829 Pine Hall Road, State College, PA 16801-3008) under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), set forth in FAR 6.302-1. The Government has a requirement to continue support training in the Lean Six Sigma principals. Minitab Release 14 is a statistical software package already integrated into the Lean Six Sigma training curriculum, which includes training modules and exercises that utilize MINITAB INC proprietary data input and analysis. This requirement will renew the user licensing agreement. The following is a brief description of the requirements to purchase the MINITAB RELEASE 14 SOFTWARE LICENSES for this effort. MINITAB software is a comprehensive statistical and graphical analysis software package used in Six Sigma and other quality improvement projects. MINITAB includes the following features and capabilities: Basic and Advanced Statistics; Regression and ANOVA; Time Series; Presentation-Quality Graphics; Simulations and Distributions; Flexible Data Import, Export, and Manipulation; Statistical Process Control (SPC); Design of Experiments (DOE); Reliability Analysis; Multivariate Analysis; Sample Size and Power Calculations. Interested firms may submit their capabilities and qualifications to the identified point of contact not later than 30 December 2005, 5:00pm eastern time. Such capabilities and qualifications will be evaluated solely for informational purposes. This is not a request for quotes, and this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document exists at this time, and any information submitted is for informational purposes only; it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any services, or for the Government to pay for the information received.
