- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Minerals Management Service (MMS), Procurement Operations Branch, is the contracting office for this procurement. This is a firm-fixed price requirement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures from FAR Part 13 with FOB DESTINATION, New Orleans, Louisiana. All shipping and handling costs must be included in quoted price. MMS Procurement will handle the solicitation and resultant contract administration as well as payment of invoices. This synopsis/solicitation intends to make a firm fixed-price sole source award to Unique Digital Technology, Inc., Houston, Texas, for the non competitive acquisition and installation of 2 E5600 Drive Module, 14 Slots, 14-148GH Disks to be consistent with existing infrastructure equipment and maintenance services. This procurement includes installation and configuration, with a total value of the project to be estimated at $33,600.00. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information and/or quotes received by Close of Business December 23, 2005, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
