Description
CONTACT S.H. Wiesenberg, Electronic Engineer, (732) 427-5507. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for spares for the AN/PDR-77 and AN/UDR-2 Radiacmeters, and the MK-2719 Installation Kit. They are as follows: NSN 5820-01-355-7459 MK-2719 Installation Kit (Qty of 6); NSN 5955-01-375-2152, Quartz Crystal (Qty of 39); NSN 6625-01-375-6349, Case Electrical (Qty of 5); NSN 6135-01-375-6348, Case Battery (Qty of 72); NSN 5998-01-375-6334, Electronic Component(Qty of 15); The current source for these components Canberra-Dover, Dover, NJ (formerly Aptec-NRC and Nuclear Research Corp. Detailed technical drawings and approved En gineering Changes which have not been incorporated on them for the manufacture of these items; however test procedures or RADIAC sets in which to install and test them are not available from the Army. Also, individual components used on the circuit card as semblies in these items must be from approved sources tested as Nuclear hardened by the Army's White Sands Missile Range. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA C-E LCMC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-GS (SHW), Bu ilding 1201, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the unit from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorilly perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. For more information contact Mr. S. H.
