Description
CONTACT Mike Nicolich, System Engineer, 732-532-7309. The Department of Army is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources to provide upgrade kits to modify fielded EHF (Extremely High Frequency) SMART-Ts (Secure Mobile Anti-Jam Reliabl e Tactical-Terminals) to provide Advanced Extremely High Frequency(AEHF) capability. The Government anticipates requirements for approximately 325 kits that may be procured during FY07 thru FY 09.The upgrade kits must be deployable and implemented at user sites worldwide with no or minimal impact to current operations. The upgraded SMART-T will retain compliance with MIL-STD-1582D (SECRET NOFORN) and MIL-STD-188-136(SECRET NOFORN) and must be compliant with all AEHF terminal specifications including MIL-STD -3015 (SECRET NOFORN). The Government does not have full disclosure rights to the SMART-T terminal drawing package, therefore, the prospective contractor will need to obtain rights to the SMART-T drawing package from Raytheon Company, 1001 Boston Post Rd, Marlborough, Ma, the developer and manufacturer of the SMART-T. We request that sources capable of meeting the Government's technical requirements provide information about its products and their ability to produce the AEHF SMART-T upgrade kits. Interested sources should submit a white paper detailing how they can obtain or built a baseline SMART-T terminal and how the upgrade kit will be designed and implemented. All information should be submitted no later than 13 January 2006. We request that all inform ation be sent to PM WIN-T, ATTN: SFAE-C3T-WIN-ESS (Mike Nicolich), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5508, telephone 732-532-7309 or via email to Michael.Nicolich@us.army.mil. Alternate point of contact is Thom Nelson, same address, telephone 732-532-0151 or email thom.nelson@us.army.mil
