Description
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is conducting a Sources Sought/Market Survey to locate organizations with the capability to conduct a follow-up study of National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) and Healthcare Integrity and Protection Data Bank (HIPDB) users and non-users in order to respond to information needs. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the NPDB and the HIPDB as flagging systems, sources of information, and decision making tools and to determine user satisfaction with the information provided by the NPDB and HIPDB. The anticipated period of performance is two years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541690 and the small business size in dollars is $6.5M. Potential sources/interested parties shall provide relevant information which specifically demonstrates: 1) company experience with designing and conducting large scale national sample surveys of health care provider officials or similar level individuals and involving sensitive and confidential information and involving mail and/or telephone responses, 2) availability of staff with the expertise to provide these services, 3) experience with and demonstrated capability to keep secure highly confidential information necessary for designing the sample and carrying out the survey, and 4) capability to leverage previous survey models. Documentation may include both Government and commercial contracts, references (names, telephone numbers and email addresses) and any other information serving to document the organization?s capability. The submission must also include the small business size status. This is NOT a request for proposals and does not commit the Government to award of a contract now or in the future.
