- Description
- The NATO Joint Warfare Center (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway intends to advertise for International Competitive Bidding (ICB) on works and services within the framework of the NATO Military Budget Committee (MBC). Eligible firms will be invited to bid to provide rental of shredders to the JWC. The JWC is serving as the Host Nation for this project, which was authorized by the MBC. The JWC intends to use basic two envelope bidding procedure. Partial bidding is not authorized. The accumulated cost of this project (1 base year + 4 one-year options) is estimated to be $383,000 USD. The reference for this project is ACT-JWC-05-24 and all correspondence in relation to this procurement shall refer to this reference. The U.S. Department of Commerce will be using as its reference IFIB-ACT-JWC-05-24. SCOPE OF PROJECT The JWC is soliciting contractor support for the rental of shredders at its facilities in Stavanger, Norway. No other specifications for the project is available at this time. The classification for this project is NATO UNCLASSIFIED. BIDDING PROCEDURES All firms with a facility located within the United States must be declared eligible by the U.S. Department of Commerce in order to bid. A Declaration of Eligibility will be submitted to the Host Nation on their behalf. The Host Nation for this project is the JWC. Requests for participation sent directly by firms to the Host Nation cannot be considered. When the Invitation for International Bidding (IFIB) is issued, those firms will be automatically notified and will be instructed to download the tender documents on the following website: www.jwc.nato.int Please note, however, that as provided for under MBC rules, nominations from interested firms will continue to be accepted by the Host Nation after the IFIB is issued and until the bid closing date.
