- Description
- The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has an requirement for a service to open, inspect, report and possible overhaul of NSN 4320-01-206-4721, Centrifugal pumps, part number U762C801, quantity 6 each, Manufacturer: Goulds Pumps, Inc., 240 Fall Street, Seneca Falls, NY 13148. Repairs shall be accomplished in accordance with ELC overhaul descriptions. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. It is the Government?s belief that only Goulds Pump Inc. or their authorized repair facilities can perform overhauls. Interested sources that possess the capabilities of obtaining the required technical, engineering and manufacturing data for Goulds Pump Inc. and possess the capabilities of overhauling the above items can submit information regarding capabilities. This information must include (1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), 2) data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily overhauled for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-06-Q-50034 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.eps.gov) on or about December 15, 2005. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the EPS systems for changes or amendments to the quotation. Note: In accordance with FAR Case 2002-24, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-26, and FAR Subpart 4.12 - Annual Representations and Certifications, the use of ORCA will become mandatory as of January 1, 2005. ORCA is available through the Business Partner Network (BPN) at <http://www.bpn.gov/ >. Contractors will use ORCA to electronically submit annual Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs). For contractors to be able to upload their Reps & Certs to ORCA, they must have an active Central Contractor Registration (CCR) record and a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN).
