- The USCG ISC Honolulu proposes to contract Deck Coverings Renewal for USCGC Walnut (WLB 205), which is geographically restricted to the cutters homeport at U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command (ISC) Honolulu, Hawaii. The vessels performance period will be 01 March 2006 and completion date no later than 21 July 2006. The scope of work is to renew interior deck coverings with a polymeric deck covering system (MIL-PRF-24613, Type III, Epoxy). The work areas (passageways, mess deck, companionways and aft-laundry) consist of a total of approximately 1445 square feet. Detailed specifications can be faxed to interested offerors. Site visit is encouraged. Contractors facilities must be located in Hawaii to be considered responsive. The acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price and will be inclusive of all labor and materials. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06; Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Provision 52.212-2 applies; evaluation factors will be price and past performance, and these factors are substantially equal. Offerors must be as a minimum achieve a satisfactory evaluation for past performance in accordance with FAR Part 15.305(2). THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. The NAICS code is 336611 and the size is 1000 employees. All offerors are to include with their quote, a completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification, and FAR Clause 52.223-3, Hazmat Identification and Material Safety Data, along with a price breakdown for the job.
