Description: The National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Proposals (Best Value) leading to award of a Fixed Price Contract for restoration of a historic railroad bed at Golden Spike NHS. Restoration will include provision of ties, removal and replacement of both Union Packfic and Central Pacific historic replica ties, and associated labor and equipment to level, tamp and re-align track bed. Award will be made to one firm offering the best value to the government. Proposals may be submitted by all responsible, responsive firms.
