A single stage centrifugal machine having an impellar tip diameter of 3.6 inches, The fan is powered by a 3-phase electric motor operating at 315 or 400 Hz Supp. Description: The motor speed is approxitemately 18,000 rpm at 315 Hz or 23,000 rpm at 400 Hz. Inlet air to the fan is filtered by a 50- micron screen filter Total Line Item Qty: 1.0000 EA Applicable to: F-16 FALCON Destn: FB2029,HILL AFB,UT.,84056-5713. Delivery - ARO Days: 090, 1.00 EA The anticipated award date will be:12JAN2006 Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: BAE SYSTEMS NATIONAL SECURITY SOLUTIONS, SAN DIEGO, CA.,92127-1874. This part required engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. The requirements of FAR 9.202(A) have been completed and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in this solicitation. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions of obtaining further information on this requirement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements is cited in each individual solicitation.
