Description
SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR C-5/E-3 AUXILIARY POWER UNIT (APU) AND SUBCOMPONENT REPAIR This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis. The following information is provided to assist potential contractors who have the skills, experience, and knowledge required to successfully complete this effort for Ogden Air Logistic Center, Hill AFB, UT. Hill AFB intends to award a depot level maintenance contract to support the USAF C-5/E-3 Aircraft located worldwide in order to repair the 2G-GTCP 165-1 Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and its subcomponents in accordance with USAF Technical Orders (T.O.s). The nomenclature is as follows: NSN: 2835-01-342-9918(19) RP and it subcomponents P/N: 380594-1 & 380594-2 plus all subcomponents on MMR NAICS: Facilities required to perform this effort must be located within the Continental United States (CONUS). Attached to this Sources Sought Synopsis are the Minimum Mandatory Requirement (MMR) document and the Source Qualification Statement (SQS). The Air Force will acquire these services through an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract as a one (1) year basic contract with two (2) one year options awarded under Price Performance Trade-off selection criteria. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded under a Fixed Price, Performance Based Service Contract type arrangement. Potential offerors are requested to provide a summary of the capabilities and facilities they have which will allow them to perform the aforementioned C-5/E-3 APU repair. Potential offerors may submit a Qualification Package per the SQS and MMR at the same time. Any information which is indicative of the offerors? capabilities to successfully perform this effort will be accepted. The government does not intend to contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Release or distribution of your response will be approved by the contracting officer. Interested parties are requested to submit three copies of the aforementioned summary of capabilities and facilities no later than 30 days after publication of this notice to the following individual: Richard G.
