No contract will be awarded as a result of this Sources Sought solicitation. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is soliciting information from potential sources and seeking qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business sources OR HubZone Small Business sources on behalf of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME who possess the capability and experience to perform the anticipated scope of work under this contract. The scope of work under this procurement will include all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision as necessary to perform overhead door preventive maintenance, repairs, fire door testing, and new door installation and incidental related work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME. The preventive maintenance shall include but not be limited to checking the operational condition of overhead doors and components, and performing the required maintenance in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and applicable standards. Door sizes range from 3 ft. – 36 ft in width and 7ft – 28 ft in height. Davis Bacon and Service Contract wages will be applicable to this solicitation. . The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290 and the small business size standard is $12 Million. Respondents are requested to submit a Capability Statement that clearly addresses your corporate capabilities. The capability statement is not to exceed 10 pages must provide a summary of relevant experience and knowledge that addressees the entire scope of the work. The statement must include substantive current and/or recent past performance references that identify the contract number, customer, contract value, type of contract, period of performance, prime or subcontract, brief description of services, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) name, COR email, and COR telephone. Requested corporate information, specify the company name and address, corporate contact points, CAGE code and attach a copy of your current Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data. Also, advise the Government of pending changes in small business status. The capability statements will be evaluated to determine if at least 2 Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses OR at least 2 Hubzone Small Businesses are capable of performing the proposed scope of work; however, respondents will not be notified of the results. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is for a base period of one year with four one year options to extend, total duration not to exceed sixty (60) Months. All data received in response to this Sources Sought solicitation that is marked, as corporate proprietary will be fully protected from release outside the Government.
