- NOAA’s Marine Operations Center-Pacific has a requirement for a contractor to provide all supervision, material and labor necessary to perform dockside repairs to the NOAA vessel OSCAR ELTON SETTE. All work will most likely be performed at the port of Honolulu, Hi but may be at Pier 45, Snug Harbor. Performance period to commence approximately 28 November 2005 and be completed on or about 4 January 2006. Work will include, but is not limited to: Main Propulsion Generator Engine Overhaul, Repair of Bridge Wing Controls, Repair of Fuel Manifold Air Operated Valves, Repair of Lube Oil Fill Pipe, Inspection of Main Motor Forward Bearings, and Skim Cut of Main Motor Commutators. Please contact Steve Koven at (808)832-3256 for vessel inspection information. The vessel will be available for inspection 10/31/05-11/3/05 in Honolulu, HI. Vessel particulars include: Overall Length – 224’0”, Beam Molded – 43’0”, Draft Design – 15’0”, Displacement 2301 LT, Speed Sustained – 10.5 knots. All responsible sources may submit a bid for consideration. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued approximately 11 October 2005.
