- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City is soliciting competitive offers from open market and GSA sources from authorized Detroit Diesel distributors for the purchase of 62 line items of spare and repair parts for the MK V Special Operation Craft (SOC), MTU boat engines, and X-Craft (Seafighter). Only genuine Detroit Diesel and MTU Friedrichshafen parts and equipment are acceptable. The items being procured are commercial parts and are for systems used for the MK V Special Operation Craft (SOC), MTU boat engines, and X-Craft (Seafighter) engines/systems. Procurement of OEM parts is required to maintain the warranty status and integrity of the supported systems. These systems are commercial items originally produced by and under warranty by the manufacturer. Solicitations and any amendments are published and available for offerors for download from the following websites: NSWC Panama City, NECO, and FEDBIZOPPS. As a result of the solicitation, multiple awards may be issued as commercial purchase orders, GSA delivery orders, or a combination of both. Delivery date will be established at the time the order is placed. Delivery will be to the US Navy Norfolk VA and San Diego Ca. NAICS Code 333618 applies. SBA Size Standard is 1000 employees. FSC is 2815.
