- NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for Repaired/Remanufactured Traveling Wave Tubes for the AN/ALQ-126B Electronic Countermeasures System. The solicitation will have eight lots?four with first article testing and four without first article testing. Multiple awards may be made. The solicitation will be issued utilizing full and open competition procedures. A five-year indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery, fixed priced contract is anticipated to result. Four lots will be awarded. Multiple awards may be made. Requirements shall be specified by individual delivery orders. Delivery of TWTs and data is F.O.B. Destination as specified by each order. Solicitation N00164-06-R-8956 will be issued on a full and open competition basis. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. Offerors are encourage to access information also available on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 3 January 2006. Closing date will be on or about 3 February 2006. This notice is a synopsis, does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment. Contract D.A.
