- Description
- Sealift Logistics Command, Pacific (SEALOGPAC) intends to procure two (2) each AFT Stern Tube Seal Repair Kit. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The required delivery date is 1 March 2005. The closing date of the solicitation will be 12 December 2005, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with Wartsila Lips, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. Telephonic requests for the solicitation resulting from this notice will not be accepted. Only inquires can be addressed to jaime.jerde@navy.mil. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 07 December 2005. The closing date of the solicitation will be 12 December, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation.
