- Solicitation: FA8103-06-R-0182: OVERHAUL: The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing and packaging and return items in like new condition to the government in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract. A Firm Fixed Price type requirements contract is contemplated for 1 one year basic contract, plus two one-year options for all Items. The items and estimated quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul, NSN: 1680-01-180-9628RK, P/N: R15033-3, Electro-Mechanical Linear Actuator 0001AA; Basic year - 60 Each 0001AB; Option I - 60 Each 0001AC; Option II ? 60 Each Delivery : 6 Per Month starting 30 days after receipt of order and reparable assets Item 0002 Overhaul, NSN: 1680-01-182-6354RK, P/N: R15036-1, Electro-Mechanical Linear Actuator 0002AA; Basic year - 8 Each 0002AB; Option I - 10 Each 0002AC; Option II ? 10 Each Delivery : 2 Per Month starting 30 days after receipt of order and reparable assets Item 0003 Overhaul, NSN: 1680-01-267-2746RK, P/N: R1473M1, Electro-Mechanical Rotary Actuator 0003AA; Basic year ? 1 Each 0003AB; Option I ? 4 Each 0004AC; Option II ? 4 Each Delivery : 1 Per Month starting 30 days after receipt of order and reparable assets Item 0004 Overhaul, NSN: 1680-01-287-2571RK, P/N: R1697M1-1, Electro-Mechanical Rotary Actuator 0004AA; Basic year ? 25 Each 0004AB; Option I ? 25 Each 0004AC; Option II ? 25 Each Delivery : 3 Per Month starting 30 days after receipt of order and reparable assets CLIN: 0005 ? Over and Above, to be negotiated as required CLIN: 0006 Data and Reports IAW DD Form 1423-1, NOT SEPARATELY PRICED Delivery CLIN 0002, 5 each 30 days ARO reps and order followed by 5 each thereafter. Qualification requirements: Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICATION. The approximate issue/response date will be 23 August 2004. Written procedures will be used for this solicitation. Current qualified/approved source(s) Smiths Industries and The Boeing Co. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
