Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requires the services of an air transportation company with access to a wide variety of airplanes of varying sizes and capabilities that will provide movement anywhere in the world on short notice. The aircraft must be capable of transporting swiftly and safely, CDC public health mission staff who can monitor and safeguard specimens and transport them for CDC. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only four (4) sources under the authority of FAR part 6.302-2. Those sources are: Flightworks, Inc., of Kennesaw, GA; Phoenix Air Group, Inc., of Cartersville, GA; BlueStar Jets of New York, NY; and Skylink USA of Herndon, VA. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-SEP-2005).
