- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Otisville Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville, NY intends to make a single award for the provision of Radiologic Technician Services at the Canaan United States Penitentiary, located at Highway 296S, Waymart, Pennsylvania. The contractor is to provide Radiologic Technician services to include: perform routine and emergency x-ray procedures, perform quality control, maintain the x-ray monitoring badges, perform training to medical staff in x-ray procedures and clean all x-ray equipment. The contractor must be certified as an x-ray technician. The contract shall consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are 104 sessions per year. A session is defined as one hour and will generally be in four hour blocks. Sessions will be scheduled as the mutual agreement of the government and the contractor (Mon-Fri between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding Federal Holidays (not to exceed 30 hours per week). The solicitation will be made available on or about May 6, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is June 6, 2005. Anticipated date of award is June 30, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov.
