- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female Federal offenders in the Southern Los Angeles County, California area. The geographic district incorporating the Southern Los Angeles County, California area is as follows: North-Manchester Avenue and Firestone Boulevard; West-Pacific Ocean; South-Pacific Ocean and East-Interstate 605 and Seal Beach Boulevard. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Community Corrections Center (CCC)”, dated August 2000, Revised December 2000, August 2001, November 2001, May 2002, October 2003 and May 2004. This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement type contract. The services are estimated to be 75% male and 25% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 32,850 (males) and 10,950 (females) for the base period; 16,470 (males) and 5,490 (females) for option years one and 16,425 (males) and 5,475 (females) for option years two and three, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about October 15, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is December 14, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for solicitation will be accepted.
