- Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to Baxter Healthcare Corporation, 1 Baxter Parkway, Deerfield, IL 60015-4633 under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This requirement is to provide 27 cases containing 24 450 ml quad blood collection bags with needle (CPDA-1) monthly, for a one-year period with provisions for four (4) one-year option periods. The estimated quantities are 324 cases per year. Interested firms must submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by 4:00 P.M. on December 06, 2005 via facsimile to 910-451-1275 or by regular mail to the Contracting Division, P. O. Box 8368, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547-8368. If submitted via courier, the address is Contracting Division, Bldg 1116, MCB, Camp Lejeune, NC 28542.
